Our founder and CEO, Owen, has 10+ years of experience working in traditional hedge funds. He's been active in Wall Street on derivatives pricing/trading/structuring/risk management, with a wealth of business management expertise along with a deep understanding of both traditional and decentralized finance. He has the knowledge and drive to develop Oval into a market-leading decentralized derivatives exchange.

Angel

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Angel, provides a strong combination of traditional corporate marketing and consulting expertise, with the specialized knowledge of how to effectively generate awareness in the unique crypto environment. As a Marketing Manager for Oval, she is responsible for communicating the project to the world. Angel has also completed remote business development consultancy projects in diverse parts of the world from the Americas, to Europe and Asia.

Leonardo

As a Chief Operations Officer, Leonardo specializes in providing structure and organization to increase Oval's output and efficiency. Leonardo subsequently worked in several international start-ups in different fields, coordinating remote teams to drive growth and ensure commercial viability.

Sousa

Our Chief Technical Officer Sousa has an impressive background of almost ten years in the blockchain industry. He is highly experienced in a host of DeFi applications including writing smart contracts for staking & rewards, building DEXs & wallets, updating proof of stake protocols, and works on flash loans and other financial solutions. He ensures that everything we're building is secure, effective, and delivered to schedule.
